PAUL’S IDENTITY IN THE 1 AND 2 THESSALONIANS

INTRODUCTION The person of Paul could be clearly brought out in his epistles and letters, just as the identity of a person can be seen in what he does or say. Paul who was also Saul wrote extensively, mostly composed of letters to where he had evangelized. His presence at the cities of Macedonia is as a result of his vision to “come over to Macedonia and help us”. Moving away from Philippi, he went into Thessalonica. His letter to them was informed by the encouraging report of Timothy.

THE PERSONALITY OF PAUL IN GALATIANS

INTRODUCTION The personality of Paul assumes another qualities other than mostly found with the Thessalonians. Since the occasion and purpose of writing this letter was founded in warning and defending the faith, Paul writes to discredit the infiltrators who came with a contrary message. Their message started with questioning the authority of Paul as an apostle.

THE SECRETS OF THE ENNEAGRAM: KNOWING OURSELVES As I write this, I’ve just arrived home from the “Celebrate Your Life” conference in Phoenix.   It was a blast and insightful in many ways. For instance, the presenters all seemed to be addressing a similar theme. Namely, how to “break through to your best life;” “find your inner healing” and most important, “know yourself.” Knowing oneself is important because until we become aware of how our attitudes and defenses hold us back, it is hard to reach our potential.  Fortunately, I believe humanity has discovered a method to precisely view ourselves — which I want to tell you about, using my personal experience as an example.  But first, let’s discuss how our negative patterns develop in our personalities in the first place.
